You are right if you mean Partition Magic as an OS/2 PM version. From version 4.0 and up you can use it as a DOS application.
Under Aurora you have to obey special conditions bcause the logical volume structure is not compatible with the general physical partitions using FDISK.COM or FDISKPM.EXE.

Under Aurora there exists an FDISK.COM, but if you call it you'll get a message to use the Logical Volume Manager, i.e. LVM.EXE.
To avoid trouble with existing partitions you can specify an LVM option: Compatibility Volumes
